Fiscal Outlook

About Fiscal Outlook

Nonpartisan fiscal policy research grounded in rigorous economic analysis.

Our Mission

Fiscal Outlook is an independent research organization dedicated to advancing public understanding of fiscal policy, government spending, and the monetary policy decisions that shape our economic landscape. Founded in 2017, we provide rigorous, data-driven analysis that informs policymakers, journalists, academics, and the public about the fiscal challenges and opportunities facing our nation.

We believe that sound fiscal policy requires an informed citizenry. The complexities of national debt management, budget deficit analysis, and the interplay between fiscal and monetary policy are often obscured by partisan rhetoric and oversimplified narratives. Our role is to cut through the noise and present clear, evidence-based analysis that helps stakeholders understand the true implications of policy choices on our economic future.

Our research spans the full spectrum of fiscal and monetary policy issues, from annual federal budget analysis and national debt projections to studies on the economic impact of government spending programs and tax policy changes. All of our work adheres to the highest standards of academic rigor while remaining accessible to non-specialist audiences.
